Most activities take place outside you will need to dress appropriately for the summer heat. (shorts and t-shirts) We strongly encourage campers to wear tennis shoes. 狮子营 involves some physical activities designed to promote team building and 狮子 Pride unity. All campers will receive a 狮子营 t-shirt upon arrival and a Pride t-shirt.

Campers sleep in air-conditioned cabins with twin bunks. You will need to provide your own toiletries and linens for a standard twin-sized bed, 包括一个枕头.

The Luau is a luau theme pool party.  Bring your swim suit and prepare to have a good time!

No, there is no need to bring money to camp.  Everything is provided for you.

学生 may use their phone during 狮子营, but we encourage you to limit phone use to scheduled free time.  Cell service is not very strong at the camp, so be prepared to have spotty service or not service at all sometimes.

11点半开始办理登机手续.m. – 12:45 p.m.  狮子营 opening Session begins at 1 p.m. in Ferguson Auditorium, so students are encouraged to arrive early to check in.  Our first 狮子营 meal is at Allaso牧场 at 6 p.m., so be sure to eat lunch before you arrive.

• Lodging for 3 days and 2 nights

狮子营 is an opportunity for you to connect with other new 狮子s, student leaders and members of TAMUC staff before the fall semester begins.  You will learn all about TAMUC history and traditions as well as ways to get involved on campus.
